While it is straightforward to sell mail order items from your webpages, selling downloads is more complex.
New European legislation came into force in January 2015 and this requires all digital downloads in the Euro-Zone to add VAT at the rate of the country of download. Sales must then be reported and the VAT paid to HMRC.
This makes it impractical for you to sell downloads from your personal webpages.
