News Round-up – Autumn 2019
A BIG Thank you for everyone that turned up to help on Saturday 31.08.19 – we had a very successful day, we installed the replacement benches on the Village Green, Placed The salt bin at The Butland’s, Cleared the paths on the Street, and tidied up the Church Yard… (which we are now trying to get the Community Service group back so it will be cut on a regular bases) – looking at making this an annual event. A huge Thank you to the Rutterfords at Street Farm who supplied us the Refreshments!
We also would like to remind everyone that the Village Green is for everyone to use and enjoy the open space, so please respect it and look after it.
To the Dog Owners please remember to poop scoop and if your dogs are a bit lively please put them on a lead when others are about, as not everyone is confident around dogs.

Wedding Kate and Bruce got married in the Village in October. They made full use of all the facilities: Church for the Wedding, Village Hall for the Reception and The Village Green for Photos
and they are donating the money they received as wedding presents back into the Village so a huge “thank you” to them both and wishing you all the best for your New Chapter in Life!
Lavinia Chapman is the lady that has been looking after the church for many years. She has decided to step down, so we are looking for volunteers to help keep the church open. If you want more details please contact Hannah Scott.
We have a lovely group of people taking it in turns to open the church and keep it clean at the weekends but at Easter we will need more volunteers as we would like to keep open the church daily. If you can help open the church on a daily basis please contact Hannah ASAP. Many thanks.
