One of the most exciting developments of recent years has been the foundation of Europe’s first majority BME orchestra, whose inaugural concert in 2015 was hailed by The Guardian as ‘culturally inspiring’. Here, the Chineke! Ensemble performs an early work by the English mixed-race composer, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and the London premiere of a recent work by Errollyn Wallen.
