Learning Piano Together
Learning Piano Together is designed for teaching small groups or individuals. The
three parts of the system take a pupil to the standard of the Grade 1 piano
examination of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Each part of the system comprises a pupil's book, flash cards, keycharts and a
teaching game. The first two parts contain simple sight reading exercises. A teacher's
manual gives guidance on setting up the system and how to use the materials
provided. PART 1 of the system is written for the absolute beginner and gradually
introduces a five finger position in each hand.
By the end of PART 2 the pupil has learned the major keys of C,G and F and
is playing tunes covering an octave in each hand.
PART 3 takes a pupil to the level of the Grade 1 Associated Board piano
examination. It also contains a number of duets or ensemble pieces.
