Downloading the Cerberus Plug-in To play the sound samples on the Impulse webpages, you need the cerberus plug-in. This is a small programme which reads the copyright-protected files and enables you to hear the sound.
The programme is about 108kb and should take less than a minute to download. |

When the player has been installed, return to the Impulse pages and click on any CD sleeve which looks like the example to the left. A new page will come up with the plug-in player in the top left hand corner. |

Watch the status bar at the foot of the browser to see when the sample has downloaded – each of these takes just over a minute. Then click on the arrow on the plug-in player to play the sample, the parallel lines to pause the play and the square to stop. When you have finished playing the sound sample, click on the back button on the browser navigation bar to return to the Impulse pages. |
