Composer, Conductor and Academic A full-time Lecturer in Composition, Harmony and History at Leeds College of Music, David Fligg has the rare ability to offer a sidewards and humorous glance at music and musicians, as well as academic lectures covering analysis, composition and history, together with choral workshops. David has written CD sleeve notes for Chandos Records, including recordings featuring Gennady Rozhdestevensky, Victoria Postnikova and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic. David is currently working on 'A Concise Guide to Orchestral Music' to be published by Mel Bay Publications. Compositions include Concerto
