Elisabeth Goell

"....a voice as clear as the autumn air with poetic strength, capable of every dynamic nuance and an incredible sensibility......"

Elisabeth Goell, soprano, was born to Dutch-German parents in Heidenheim in Germany. Her early years were spent learning the recorder, piano, flute and singing in her Prize-winning local choir.  When Elisabeth won the first prize at the Lieder Competition, Dublin, her true vocal potential was discovered and furthered by Paul Farrington and Emma Kirkby, London. She is in great demand as a soloist with chamber ensembles and choirs, at Festivals and as a recitalist.
Elisabeth has just released her first CD featuring the music of unduly  neglected women composers.
Out of the mist of time...

Elisabeth Goell, soprano, sings music of women composers spanning
three centuries, accompanied by
Lauretta Bloomer, piano
