LRAM, ARCM has 20 years' experience as a solo clarinettist specialising in
classical contemporary music. She was also part of the light music duo
"Dizzy Lips" with pianist and singer Carol Wells, performing
repertoire from 50's rock and roll to their own songs.
Geraldine stopped playing professionally in 1993 as a result of a road
accident. She is an examiner for
the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, adviser to the Arts Council of England
and East Midlands Arts Board and Past Warden of the Private Teachers' Section of
the Incorporated Society of Musicians. Sarah Rodgers BA(HONS), FRSA is a professional composer and conductor, Chairman of the Concert Executive of the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, Trustee of the British Music Information Centre, and a Director serving on the Boards of the British Academy, the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society Ltd and the MCPS-PRS Alliance. In 1994 she was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
