Amanda Broome studied at Dartington, the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. A professional soloist, she has sung with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy Theatre, London.


In 1990, Amanda took her career to France where her reputation has blossomed with appearances at the Grand Theatre de Tours, the Theatre Femina, Bordeaux, and recitals throughout both France and England.


Her repertoire includes Dowland, Purcell, Pergolesi, Marcello, Mozart, Schubert, Rossini, Strauss (Richard) and she is particularly known for her interpretation of Francis Poulenc.
