 Amanda Broome studied at Dartington, the Royal
Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and
Drama. A professional soloist, she has sung with the D'Oyly
Carte Opera Company at the Savoy Theatre, London. |
| In 1990, Amanda took her career to France where her
reputation has blossomed with appearances at the Grand Theatre
de Tours, the Theatre Femina, Bordeaux, and recitals throughout
both France and England. |
| Her repertoire includes Dowland, Purcell, Pergolesi,
Marcello, Mozart, Schubert, Rossini, Strauss (Richard) and she
is particularly known for her interpretation of Francis Poulenc. |
