BETTY ROE composer, adjudicator, vocal coach Betty Roe's versatility has enabled her to build a successful career as a musician in many spheres, with extensive experience as singer, composer, conductor, teacher, examiner and adjudicator. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music, gained LRAM, ARCM and FTCL diplomas and was elected an Associate of the RAM in 1991. She became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 1993. |

| COMPOSER |
|
As a composer her work embraces many fields: solo songs, choral music, church music, revue songs, musicals, operas, instrumental pieces and music for schools. There is a constant flow of commissions from choirs, schools and children's groups, solo singers and instrumental groups. Her collaboration with librettist Marian Lines has been particularly fruitful and they have written many works for special groups and needs.
